Puppy Playdates (every Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.) The puppy socialization period is a short and critical time frame that will help shape the personality of your adult dog. Our Puppy Playdates offer a perfect opportunity for your new puppy to learn to play and interact with other dogs and people in a safe, supervised environment. With Puppy Playdates, you and your dog will learn the important lessons of: doggy etiquette bite inhibition proper play body language Your first Puppy Playdate is absolutely FREE, then play again every week for just $10.00 per visit. Ask about our FREE Puppy Playdate passes when you sign up for a Basic Companion Class! Our Puppy Playdates are open to all dogs between 9 to 20 weeks of age, with at least their second set of vaccinations. Reservations and a copy of vaccination records are required. Puppy Headstart Program

Bringing a new puppy home is a fun, exciting, challenging, frustrating, exhausting, and exhilarating time. With conflicting advice from dog training books, the Internet, and other dog owners, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure when making important decisions on how to raise your new family member.

Let Time and Patience Dog Training help with our Puppy Headstart program. A certified trainer will visit your home for a 90-minute information and training session, to get you started off on the right foot (or paw).

The Puppy Headstart program will cover:

• The RITE Way to train your dog
• Why “no” is an ineffective word for your puppy
• How dogs think (and why they do what they do)
• Tips to help your puppy become a safe, well-behaved family member

The Puppy Headstart program is a private, in-home 90-minute session that includes written handouts, and costs $125 plus GST.
